My drains take ages to drain. What are my options?
Drains can run slow for a number of reasons. You have several options;
- Hydro Jetting the lines can be used to remove any sludge build up from years of constant use. This is simply a high pressure water treatment designed to clean out your drains.
- Environmentally friendly treatments such as bio clean is the green way to keep your drains clear. It’s easy and you do it on a monthly basis.
- Roots growth can be managed with products such as RootX. We are an approved distributor for this service.
- Old and tired pipes may require replacing some or all of them due to corrosion. In our territory, many homes have 50 or 60 year old cast iron pipe or Greenberg, which may have exceeded their useful lives.
How do I know if it’s a mainline stoppage or a branch stoppage?
If it’s a mainline stoppage, then everything will be blocked. If it’s a branch line, then only that will be stopped. Our master technicians will make the determination when they arrive and will have the correct equipment on their truck to clear your stoppage.

Excellent customer service when calling to make appointment. Technician arrived even before scheduled time (we received a call with this time frame update ahead of time). Romero (technician) was polite, efficient and provided the information and written quote on options for sewer line replacements that will definitely be needed due to root damage to pipe line.read more

"THE BEST OF THE BEST"
I had recently purchased a home in the Thousand Oaks area and found that it needed quite a bit of plumbing upgrades. I called three plumbers all of whom I found on Yelp. I won't waste time mentioning names, however I was amazed at the complete flakiness of them. I then found Thousand Oaks Plumbing. Each and every employee that I was involved with has been stellar. They completed my work as scheduled at the price quoted with no up charges and other nonsense. Even on a small issue that was completed as a courtesy with no charge, and started to leak over the weekend, they sent out a technician to make the required repairs at no charge. I would like to mention all their names however the main job was substantial and several different men worked on it. Each and everyone was polite professional and even "SMELLED GOOD" LOL... Also the office staff was super in meeting our schedule and getting the job completed. In all seriousness truly if you need plumbing work done, this is the only company to call. Every few years we have the tree root in the pipes crisis. Called Thousand Oaks Plumbing in the morning - Tyler who works for the company came out a little after 4:00 as was best for me.
